The miracle of the loaves and fishes is one of the most memorable miracles of Jesus. In another gospel it is Andrew the disciple who brings a little boy to Jesus who has the loaves and fish in his lunch. It is when we put the little we have into the hands of Jesus that he is able to multiply our meager efforts to feed the multitude. When we place our plans and resources in the master’s hands, he can do far more with them than we could ever anticipate. What a blessed consolation this miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fish is for our ministry of bringing unity to the human family.
