The “Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept,” is only accessible through love of Jesus. It is through love that we remain in Christ and in his Father’s will. His greatest commandment is that we love one another. He tells us that the world will know that we are his disciples by the way we love one another. The human family is not left orphaned as long as there are those who keep the commandment to love. For the disciples who can love have access to the Spirit of truth. Those who cannot love do not have access to the truth. Let us pray for the capacity to love more and to be more of the truth that our world sorely needs today.
