John 6:1-15

The Gospel of John proclaims the abundance of God. In John 10:10, we
find his core message: ?I came that you might have life and have it more
abundantly.? Jesus want the crowd to be fed and asks his disciples to
feed them. They tell him that it is impossible. Andrew brings a little
child who is willing to give what he has for the cause. Jesus uses his
gift for the glory of God. In the human family today there is as much a lack of
sanity, compassion and self sacrifice as in the days
of this gospel. Jesus expects his disciples to fill this lack of caring in our world. The child became famous for his gift of abandonment. What can God do with our caring when we place ourselves in his hands and live in his plans for us all.
