Living the Prayer of Jesus through Racial Sobriety
Pentecost
John 20:19-23
The birth of life from Jesus is the Spirit of life. At our birth we receive our first breath. We don’t give up our breath until we return it to God. Giving forth life is what God is all about. Forgiveness is the new start he offers for his followers to begin again. To breathe again. The Holy Spirit is the breath of God and we can be assured that as long as we are living we will have to seek the forgiveness of God and we are expected to forgive others. When we can not forgive we stop living in grace. We begin the dying process. As we seek to change the world it begins with letting go of the hurts. In their places is a deeper space for us to inhale the Holy Spirit.
